City of Ghaziabad gets a massive Rs 1,500 crore infrastructure push

The all important, decision making board of the GDA - Ghaziabad Development Authority has earmarked the majority bulk of expenditure estimated and proposed to be incurred by it during the crucial financial year 2015-2016 on development and sustenance of a plethora of infrastructure projects in the fast developing city. A cumulative total of a staggering Rs 1,500 crore was allotted by the vibrant board a few days back for expenditure in plenty of infrastructure works like the much awaited extension of the Delhi Metro rail network from Dilshad Garden to NH24 and the New Bus Stand, the proposed 21-km Northern Peripheral Road and the Hindon Elevated Road.

Against its cumulative revenues and income of a whopping Rs 2,163 crores that is rightly expected to be raked in by GDA during this new financial year, it has strategically planned expenses of Rs 2,526 crore, which will lead to a deficit for the authority but will change the face of Ghaziabad as we know it.

The proposed and highly anticipated Northern Peripheral Road - from Tila Mod near Delhi to Dasna Toll Plaza on NH-24 - has got the much needed boost in the critical budget with a massive Rs 150 crore being rightfully reserved for construction work of the project’s 1st. While the entire work on this new corridor will be done in 3phases.

The proposed six-lane expressway, which was originally planned to be 60 meters in width, has now been re-designed as a 45-metre-wide corridor with the same number of lanes, owing to land constraints. As per the GDA, although the construction of the state of the art corridor will be done in 3 phases, the complete land required for the completion of the project has been obtained in a single phase.

All these and many other initiatives being undertaken by the GDA will change the landscape of Ghaziabad for the better. Both cosmetic and infrastructural changes are in order for the city and as a result, a torrent of real estate investors and buyers are flocking towards the city to make the most of this opportunity. One such project which is trending at the moment in Ghaziabad’s realty market is Rise Developers magnum opus, Organic Homes.

The project which is in the pre launch stage has set the NCR real estate segment on fire. This world class and never before seen residential project inculcates Organic architecture in it’s every fibre and is therefore being rightly hailed as Ghaziabad’s most organic, nature friendly and green project. Being located at the fast improving and developing NH24, the never before seen project offers 2, 3 and 4 BHK variants. Abundance of unique features and amenities like rooftop infinity pools and clubhouse, personal elevators, vigilant security, fine dining restaurants and in house retail outlets etc, make living at Organic Homes a pleasure. When you combine the projects highly competitive prices along with high return on investments prospects, Rise Organic Homes is an opportunity one should definitely not miss out on.
